How lucky am I that I got to learn from a Master Draftsman years ago (yes, I am aging myself) before AutoCAD was the only way to create architectural plans. I love to draw, and I love building an idea with pencil, ruler, and eraser. I love that I can envision something and put the idea down on paper for others to see my vision... Don't get me wrong, I love my computer and all the advantages a CAD produced rendering offers, but there is nothing like putting pen to paper and showing my hair stylist "in the moment" of conversation what could be done with her kitchen handles.
